Building a network is essential for a career in events. Alongside your ESINEV programme, we encourage you to get to know the professional bodies and industry networks active in Australia and New Zealand and internationally.

Organisations worth knowing

• ILEA (International Live Events Association) – an international community of live-events professionals.
• MPI (Meeting Professionals International) – a global association for the meetings and events industry.
• MEA (Meetings & Events Australia) – an Australian industry association for meetings and business events professionals.
• EEAA (Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia) – an association for exhibition and event organisers and suppliers.
• BEIA (Business Events Industry Aotearoa) – the business events industry association in New Zealand.

These organisations are independent of ESINEV: we list them as useful resources, not as partners. Membership terms and benefits are set by each organisation.

How ESINEV helps

Our programmes reference current industry standards and practice, and your tutors can advise you on events, trade shows and communities where you can start building your professional network.
